We started Truenova in 2025 with one product and one observation.
The bedroom is the most personal room in the house, and almost nobody was treating it as a whole. Sleep brands sold you pillowcases and pretended intimacy didn't exist. Intimacy brands sold you things that felt clinical, or crude, or like something you'd hide when guests arrived. Comfort was a third aisle somewhere else. You were meant to shop in three places and feel slightly odd in one of them.

So we set one standard and applied it to everything we make. The room has three jobs — rest, comfort, connection — and none of them should be embarrassing. A silk pillowcase and a positioning pillow belong in the same catalogue, because they belong in the same room.

We build the same way across all of it. Specifications are measured, not copied from a supplier's sheet — the 27° incline on our first product was tested in-house, and everything since has had to clear the same bar. Where a product can be tiered for real bodies rather than sold in one size for everyone, we tier it.

And we built the brand bilingual from the first day. Nearly a quarter of Canada lives in French, and the category offered them a translation plugin, when it offered anything at all. Quebec wasn't an afterthought. It was the reason.
Today we operate across Canada and the United States, in three collections: Rest, Comfort, and Ritual.
The standard hasn't moved. Everything we make has to be something you'd be comfortable leaving out when the visitors arrive.
